Completed tasks disappearing and not showing up in productivity tracking

It seems to have started this morning... Tasks marked as complete are completely disappearing, not registering in the Karma Score, and not showing up on the "completed tasks" list.

This is mentioned in a recent thread that is marked as "answered" but the problem still exists. Thank you!

I'm new to Todoist, and the productivity tracking is why I chose it and paid for premium features. Being 3 days in, and not being able to see a correct list of completed tasks is quite discouraging. Please help!

Many thanks.

Hi Margaret,

We are looking into this issue, and threads are marked Answered when a Todoist staff answers, does not mean it's completed.

Please clarify, are these all tasks that are completed? If you click on the clock icon within a project, do you receive an error message?

Thank you for clarifying on the "answered" response in threads... I do appreciate the quick response!

When I click on the clock within a project, the completed tasks are showing up. No error message there.

The issue seems to be that the completed tasks aren't registering with the Karma score/ productivity trend pages, or being included in the score/ metrics. For example, when I click on the "completed tasks" link from the Productivity Trend window, only one task shows as being completed today, when many others were checked off today.

Am I doing something wrong in setting up the tasks so that they aren't showing up? Should I be doing something differently?

Thank you!

I have the same problem. The clock icon works and it shows the completed tasks, but they don't show up in the productivity charts.
For yesterday I have completed 4 tasks, but it only shows 2 in the chart (the problem started yesterday afternoon (Central European Time) obviously).

Apparently the problem I have asked is the same as the one mentioned here. Also with me it started yesterday afternoon (Central European Time).

Same problem for me. All completed items show when clock icon is clicked. My carma list also shows -1 point (five hours ago) for postponing tasks to different dates, but I did not postpone any tasks. I'm in Texas.
By the way, Margaret Z., I've been using Todoist for about six months (approaching 9000 carma points) and this is the first problem of any kind I've had with it. I'm able to view all completed tasks for that time, except for today's missing items, of course.

I've had the same problem. No completed tasks from the last two days are either listed or shown in the visualisation.

David / Brendon,

I've noticed the same issue (Completed Tasks not appearing in the 'View All Completed' history), but the interesting point is that the Tasks that *are* being shown are Recurring Tasks that were setup prior to the beginning of the New Year Year; all tasks created since the start of the New Year, and completed in 2014, are not being shown.

Food for thought?

Best regards,
Randy Miller

Yes I´m very worried about this , please solve the problem soon, only tasks that have a date when they are finished are appearing in the "view all completed".
It´s an important bug to be solved urgently!

Same problem here! Hope we can get those completed tasks back - otherwise it will mess up the stats!

Same here--I am in trial for the premium and trying to decide between a free app-- Producteev-- and this one. I am hoping that I will be satisfied with all the features within the 30 days. It makes it harder to justify paying for the app unless you know you have superior benefits.

Seeing the issue here. Nothing showing done for 2014. Way to kick off the New Year.

I still don't see the already completed tasks in the productivity of the last 7 days and in the completed tasks list. I just see them if I click the clock icon inside the project. Is there any way to fix this so that we can also see the tasks that were completed during these 2 days?

resolved? doesn't it mean that disappeared tasks people complained about in the past couple days will be added to the completed count / karma, OR the similar issue won't happen again in the future?

please clarify?

Unfortunately, tasks that you've completed during the time this issue persisted will not show up (you can un-complete them from within a project and then check them off again, though).

We assure you that such issue will not occur in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.

How do we un-complete them from within a project if they've completely disappeared? Mine that disappearedare not showing at all anywhere that I can find.

Nevermind, I found the clock button you referred to earlier. I'm new here so I hadn't noticed that button before.

Is this still a current issue? And is there a solution/workaround?

If I click on the karma icon, it indicates productivity in the last 7 days and says 1512 completed under Completed history, but when I click View All Completed it tells me "No completed tasks matches your filter." even if the filters say "Any time", "Any project", "Any label"

Hello Paul,

This could be related to the server issue we've had recently, please let us know if it still persists now.
