Outlook add-in not showing up


I installed the Outlook add-in from your website (version but it doesn't show up in Outlook. I went to Options, add-ins... and it's not there to check off.

Win7, 64bit
Outlook 2013, 32bit

Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello Nick,

Please tell me - do you see "OutlookTodoist" listed in "Programs & Features"? If not, then it hasn't installed correctly. The reasons for that could be lack of administrative access or lack of .NET Framework.

If you do see it there, then it should have also showed up in the Add-ins list (as you click on "Go" at the bottom next to "COM Add-ins").

We're also working on an update of our plugin which will address all such issues.

Yes, it does show up as installed in "Programs and Features" as OutlookTodoistADX. Upon installation, it also downloaded and installed VSTO. I've restarted Oulook, rebooted, and now uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. Still doesn't show up.

There is no reason why it would not be there then, though this has happened in the past and we have not really found the cause, at least not 100%. As David said, we are about to finish a huge update and this should be resolved with it among many other issues.

We hope to have this complete soon.

There is a work around for this display issue. Simply go to your Inbox folder tree and click on a different folder. For some reason when the e-mail message list is refreshed by switching folders, the todoist add-in appears.
