Different order

I have a todo-list that is repeated every day. Why don´t the todos show up in the same order as I have made in a project list as when I click the "today" button and check out the same list?
The todos are in one order in my original project list and in another when I read the "today" list. Please note that I have not clicked any button to make the "today" list organize the todos in any special order.

Do the different Tasks have different Priorities or Times associated with the Tasks?

By default, the Today View, or any other filtered View, will show Tasks with specific times at the top (in chronological order), then will sort according to the Priorities assigned to the Tasks (should should by P1, P2, P3 and P4). Sorting within each Priority is, I believe, a 'mystery' (in other words, I don't know if Tasks with the same Priority are sorted alphabetically or in some other order).

Thanks for the reply!

No the tasks don´t have different priorities or times associated with any of the tasks. There is no logical order of the tasks when I click the "today" button. They are just in a different order compared to the original project list, which is the order I would like to see under "today". Is it possible to fix this weakness in the todoist system?

Hello Henrik,

Unfortunately, that's how our system works. It will primarily sort tasks on the today view by time, then priority and then, for elements that have neither, display them in a seemingly random order.

If you wish to make sure to see all tasks in order, we recommend to view them within the project, but you can also try to reorder them on the today list itself and Todoist should remember it.

Best regards,
