every first sunday starting may 28th 2014 reports a first date as may 4th
Wrong answer ;-)
If you're setting a recurring task with a specific start date, the start date itself must match one of the occurrences of the task.
That said, you can't set the starting date to May 28th, as that's not the first Sunday in May. If you want it to start on the first Sunday in June, you'll have to set it to "starting 1 Jun".
Ok, I get it but it still feels a bit strange...
Anyway: I love todoist !
And I searched hard to find a better to-do organiser: not found.
In Todoist Browser site and Chrome browser extension the location reminder won’t connect to your mapping service so I can’t set location reminders , plus the date/time shortcuts won’t work either .

It just hangs , won’t locate address
CHrome version : Version 41.0.2272.104 (64-bit)
Todoist: can’t find what version but its the latest because I always update when prompted
Sorry to hear you are having trouble with this. Could you please try to log out and manually clear the cache in Chrome?
Go to Settings > Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data, search for "Todoist" and delete all found entries.
Let mw know if the issue persists afterwards.
I am still having this problem 2 years after this report. If I type "every other Thursday starting August 6", it switches itself to "every other Thursday" starting August 13.
I will ask our developers to take a look into it. In the meantime, please try using "every 2 weeks starting August 6".
Thank you, that works! It has been driving me crazy trying different ways to enter it and that one hadn't occurred to me.
