Why there is no visual time picker in interface for setting task's due time?

KP

Hello!

When I want to set due time for task the only way to do it is to type in this time is textual form like " @ 9:00". There is date picker for visual selection of due date, so why there is no similar way for time? It concerns of web interdface and Android app, don't know about other platforms.

Thanks!

Hello Kirill,

Our goal is to keep the UI clean and simple to make it as easy to use as possible and we believe that it's much faster to type @ 2pm than to click on an icon, then on an hour drop down menu, scroll, pick the hour, then minute menu, pick a minute and then save.

However, we may of course consider adding such option in the future, especially on mobile.

Best regards,
David

Thank for reply!

My bad, I didn't notice that Android app _does_ have handy time picker for due time. ((
So, there is a diffrense between web and Android interface in this place. It's not a terrible horror but can slightly disapploint somebody, imho.

Best regards,
Kirill

Kirill,

Mobile devices in general have date and time pickers as there it's more convenient to use them than type in numbers with letters. Again, we'll consider adding a time picker to our web-app and you're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/791/
