Reminders for completed task keep appearing on my iPhone.

Yesterday I set up a task that recurs daily at 8 pm, with a reminder set for push notification daily at 8 pm. I marked the task as complete on the Todoist iPhone app last night. This morning I've been getting a reminder on my iPhone every 30 minutes for yesterday's completed task.

I read some of the Q&As on this site, and most say to reinstall the newer version off the app, but I just installed it Monday, so I'm assuming I have the most recent version.

I went to todoist.com and deleted the task. I closed my web browser, closed Outlook, and turned my iPhone off. When I opened todoist.com, the task is gone, but when I turned my phone back on, I got another reminder!

How do I make it stop?

Hello Ann,

Please try to reinstall the iOS app even though it's the latest version. We'll soon publish an update which will hopefully fix this permanently, if not then we suspect it's an issue with the Apple servers that send the notifications and we'll contact Apple about it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,

This issue should already be fixed. Please make sure you are updated to the latest version of the app, and log out and back in again.

do yo mean desktop app then when I try I get an error message "an error has occured while trying to update please try again)

previous pop up says todoist 122 is available .... you have version 2.5 I am using mac with Maverick.

If you mean mobile app. I just updated when you launched task sharing. the error preceded it and was still there since I updated.

please advise.. Tx Paul

I was referring to the issue on the iOS app, for reminders. Please try uninstalling the app, and re-installing it.
