in a task I would like to inform the prevision duration

Hi there,

for me is very useful the 7 days view, because I can easily see which is my load of work for everyday.

The problem is that every task has different weight, in other words maybe one day I can do ten tasks of short duration, and other day I can just do a couple of them because it takes more time do them.

So, the question is, does exists any way to inform a prevision duration in a task ?

If I could inform the prevision duration I could establish even a limit of hours that I want to work everyday, and easily to find out that in a single day I'm putting to much tasks and so I need to move some of the tasks to other day, or maybe divide them.

It really would be so helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Hello Pasqual,

Unfortunately, that's not directly possible. You could use labels to do that and type @2h or @5h within a task's name, but it won't count them. You could also use due times such as "tomorrow at 2pm" or "ev Fri at 13:40" and before you add another task for this day, see what you've got there already.

We may consider adding a duration option to Todoist in the future, though and you're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/259/
