Once I type a project title, I can't seem to find anyway to edit it once created. HELP!
If you're using Todoist on the web, hover your mouse on the Project list on the left hand side of the screen; you'll see a 'drop down arrow' to the left of the Project name. Click that arrow and you'll find lots of options to edit your Project.
As Randy said - you can use the drop-down arrow or, even easier - just right-click on a project to access the same menu with the Edit option :)
I don't seem to get the Edit-project menu either. Right-clicking brings me options that have nothing specifically to do with Todoist.
I just got this program today; having a bit of trouble overall - it is so clean & minimalist that it is almost too-minimalist with regards to menu options, icons.
So… How do I edit a project name?
You may have some extension or plugin causing issues with Todoist, as right clicking on a task name (left hand menu) should give you Project options.
Which browser are you using, which OS? Please try clearing the cache for this browser, also try disabling any extensions to see if it still occurs.
FYI for ipad folks who may come along later to this topic. While the described editing feature does not work within the iPad app, it does work via iPad Safari at the website. Use the 3 dots to the right of the project name (just situate your furor, and it appears), then select Edit Project.
Editing option should be available on iPad :-) Just swipe a project from right to left and click on the edit (pencil icon). It works the same for editing filters, labels and notes.
Oh, I think you are referring to a task name, not a project name. If you want to edit a task name, you should tap on that task and choose the edit icon (the last one) and then edit the name.
Sorry for my confusion. Still recovering from tax day :-/
Oh, I understand that! :-) No worries!
Have a great day!
