Chrome Gmail Plugin - Won't Log In

KB

I have Todoist for Gmail installed, https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/todoist-for-gmail/clgenfnodoocmhnlnpknojdbjjnmecff

For the last short while, I have been able to access Todoist, I am logged in, but the Gmail plugin does not acknowledge that. I am always prompted to log in again. If I log in or not, the Gmail popup window always prompts me to log in again.

I have tried associating my Todoist account with my Gmail account. Now I can "Log in with Google Account" but the plugin still never acknowledges it. I have tried clearing both login cookies and cache, closing the browser, and logging in again. No luck. Has this issue been seen before?

Hello,

Please allow third-party cookies in your browser. because our plugin will want to set a cookie and it's inside another site, the browser will consider it third-party and could indeed cause such issues.

Best regards,
David

That was just what I needed. The little fortune cookie in the URL bar indicated that cookies from gmail.todoist.com and todoist.com were being blocked. Thanks!

I've got the same problem, except with Tbird. Checked and 3rd party cookies are allowed. Specifically it prompts me to login in the pane at left (todoist) then when I select google, it switches to a login screen. Once I enter my deets, it jumps me to a Chrome page where it asks for it again, then seems to login in Chrome. The Todoist site loads up with that login process, but not the plugin for some reason. Any other ideas?

Hello Brien,

Please try to install this version of our Thunderbird plugin: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/7338bf6f12a49ad2e4418a4adae400ff/as/todoist_for_thunderbird-4.1-tb.xpi

If the issue persist - log in via web, go to Settings -> Account Edit the password (to set a password for manual login) and then in TB, click somewhere on the white area of our plugin, TAB your way to the email and password fields and confirm with Enter to log in.

Best regards,
David
