How can I add a pdf or picture to a task?

I am using the web version of the program. I create the task. I save it. I hover over it to get the note box to come up and then click to create a note. I click the button to upload a document. I have tried both dragging a document / picture to the box and clicking the link to upload from my computer. It shows the document / picture uploading 100%. I have tried closing the window by clicking the x button, clicking add note, clicking in the blank spaces around the note...nothing will cause the document / picture that was loaded to be saved as an attachment to the task. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any advice.

Hello Philip,

Once the upload reaches 100% it should automatically close the box and insert an URL to the document within the note.

Please tell me - what browser are you using and can you reproduce this issue in a different browser? Also, please note that some platforms have limitations that don't allow files to be uploaded, for example - it won't work through our Mac app or the Chrome extension.

Best regards,

I am using Chrome. I switched to IE and the program acted just like you said it would. Thank you. Problem solved.

Please note, this works with Chrome, just not the extension for Chrome.

I was using the program in chrome, not in the extension. I didn't even realize there was a chrome extension.
