Pomodoro Timer

The missing thing in todoist is "Pomodoro Timer" which lets you focus on a task without interruptions.

Recently I came across Kanbanflow which implemented Pomodoro timer in a very elegant way. I really like the way it works.

So I suggest you guys to add this feature at least for the Premium users moving forward

I like to vote for this too. While I am researching Pomodoro apps I recognized how redundant this would be. Having a ToDo app and a separate Pomodoro app where I have to add my tasks again.

I like the main idea of Pomodoro to stay focused on one task for 25 min and this could be easily archived with a kitchen timer. But I also like to have a kind of logging where I can see how long I needed for a task. This would help me for better future planning.

+1, having stats on how many pomodoro sessions were needed to complete a task would be great. It would help to understand whether the tasks are properly sized. In my personal experience with kanbanflow, having pomodoro timer integrated with the app was very helpful in keeping me focused on the task.

I'm just refreshing status of my requests (per scheduled reminder in todoist ;-) ). Any update on providing this functionality?

Found that Voting box is closed for now. +1 for this feature. It's simple, but VERY helpful.
Thanks a lot!

Thanks for all of the votes! The more people who vote for a feature, the higher a priority it will become.

In the meantime, we do have an integration with Toggl that I use myself. A "start/stop timer" option shows up at the end of every task in Todoist. That task will then be added automatically to your Toggl log in their desktop app. You can find instructions on how to use this at the link below:

Because the vote feature has been disabled, +1 from me, too.

Yes to pomodoro timer! This would bring a lot of pomodoro technique users over to todoist.

an integrated pomodoro timer in todoist would be ideal - just purchased the premium todoist product and I'm disappointed this wasn't available. +1 from me too.

I'm using Pomotodo with Todoist, and have tried Toggl as well. It is much more time consuming than if a pomodoro timer was integrated.

I see the +1's are piling up here. Let's keep them coming!

Such a good program, i just think developers should do more focus on users.
I know business version is more $, but a program can't survive without users/community.
Just my opinion, because i think things here take so long to incorporate into releases.

+1 to pomodoro integrated timer - with the added feature of being about to edit your:

work time
break time
long break time
number of work times large break time.

Not everybody uses 25, 5 & 30mins.

Something like this would be great for me as well.

Similarly, I wish there were a simple timer that I could start, pause and stop with each task to track how long I've spent on it. For my purposes, it wouldn't necessarily have to be a feature that would link to any other functionality, like I wouldn't need to search or filter for tasks by time spent or anything like that.

I tend to scan my task list, which is what triggers me to act on whatever item is either most urgent or within my ability to complete. While there are an abundance of time tracking tools out there, having something simple integrated into my 'trigger' would more reliably ensure that I actually use a timer at all. Too often I switch tasks and dive right in without taking the time, or more importantly, ATTENTION, to do these little administrative chores.

Do you consider trying 3rd part solution? pomodoneapp.com seems to be a good way to combine todoist benefits, pomodoro technique and time logging.
