Outlook add in and Windows app blank screens
I can not use Todoist in outlook, if I activate the add in a blank page appears.
If I click with left button a popup sais "TYes"
and a explores window appears in the background (outside outlook) asking for refresh.
If I refresh appears the Todoist outlook window with the info, and this url:
But I can not use it from outlook.
With the windows app I get only a blank screen
I'm working behind a Proxy
I've installed the versions I've found in your support page to solve Proxy issus but without good results.
Just to clarify, the Windows version solving the proxy issue is this: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/29465f3a4c6c7f36ed42d9a1c6b294d0/as/Todoist_for_Windows.exe please make sure that's the one you use (184.108.40.206) or try to reinstall it.
If it still shows a blank screen, try to right-click on the TD icon in the notifications area (system tray) and choose either "Logout" or "Home" from this menu.
As you see in this thread: http://todoist.com/Support/showQuestion/6087/#comment_24686 this version solved this issue for everyone except for one user who reports the same issue as you. That said, is there anything special or different about the proxy you use? Are there any additional firewalls or some non-standard setup?
Installed the app
Have you logged out since installing this version? Please also try to clear the cache for IE while doing so.
I have the same problem with the Windows app, when started the window remains blank.
Navigating to "Home" doesn't work and also "Logout" doesn't work, nothing happens after clicking "Logout" the app remains logged in.
I uninstalled and installed the most recent version (220.127.116.11), prior to installing I removed any remaining files and Windows Register keys remaining after uninstall. Unfortunately nothing works.
Please tell me:
- Are you online when you try to access the app?
- Did you set it to open at launch (autostart)?
- Are you behind any corporate firewalls or proxies or VPNs?

3. I am behind a corporate firewall and proxy, the proxy is properly configured in Internet Explorer and the app worked fine until a few weeks ago.
Do you remember when exactly did it stop working for you? This could point us to an update that might have caused it.
Unfortunately, we're unable to reproduce this issue and the latest version should actually fix proxy-related issues. So far all other customers who were experiencing them confirmed that they no longer persist.
I honestly can't remember..
It could be 4 weeks, but it could as well be 12 weeks.
Haven't used Todoist frequently due to vacation, holidays, etc..
Is there any way to make the app 'forget' the logged in status and my credentials since I'm not able to log out at all?
I hoped it would be done so by deleting all the remaining files and Windows Registry keys after uninstall, but it still remembered my credentials..
As a workaround I've created a Chrome 'shortcut' to the Todoist website to keep track of my tasks.
Hopefully the app is magically going to work again on its own.
There is in fact a way to wipe the app's entire cache and force a forward to the login screen and that's the "Logout" button in the context menu of the TD icon that the app adds to the notification area.
It's extremely unusual that you've said that using this option doesn't help either as it's our "failsafe" in the app that must clear its cache and forward you to the login screen no matter what issue may occur in it.
Please try to use this option a few times both online and offline and see if at any time you get redirected anywhere or even at least generate an error message.
I know it's very strange behaviour..
For the last 15 minutes I've been clicking the 'Logout' option like a madman, nothing worked.

Just to clarify - you did try to reinstall the Windows app? Or only log out? According to the developers, reinstalling it should fix this issue.
I logged out and reinstalled the Windows app..
I even deleted the Todoist and TodoistCacheXl directories in the C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\ directory...
Still no luck, same errors in the logfiles in the CEF.log file.
I have done the same thing as Nick and have the same problems with the blank screen for the Windows app. I am too behind a proxy and using Windows 8.
