Will the Gmail Task link problem be solved soon?

The only place adding emails as tasks works for me consistently is if I am working entirely withing the MS Outlook program. Now that is a fine add-in!
Straight up gmail add-in doesn't yet work for me. Or for some others. https://todoist.com/Support/showQuestion/7521/

Nor does it work from within Android, except occasionally to call up Firefox to sign into my email.

Now you CAN drag and drop from the URL and subject lines into a task and it will call it up. But only within Gmail to the specific email (but not Android or Outlook if you do it that way)

"Add email to tasks" within the Gmail dialog box SOMETIMES works, but never from within the Gmail Add-in itself and only once from within Firefox extension. Most often it just says "the conversation no longer exists." There is definitely a problem with the Todoist Gmail plug-in button too. Sometimes the "TD Add" box appears in my separate Gmail account and my University's UNCGMail and sometimes it does not.

Second major limitation with Todoist, still for me an impressive program. But I'm using GTD and getting back quickly to those emails from multiple platforms would be ideal. ESPECIALLY withing GMAIL and ANDROID Todoist to Android Gmail, which doesn't work at all.

Hi Thomas,

Please make sure that your gmail account (all that you use) does not have the Preview Pane Labs feature enabled. This feature does not allow our plugin to work at all, sometimes completely removing it from within Gmail. This could be the case with it sometimes working on some accounts.

Most of your issue sounds like the limitation with how the email links work, if you create within Gmail, it needs to open in Gmail. This may be why it won't work for you within Android etc. We do hope to find a better solution in the future.

There is also an issue we are working on with moving emails after they have been added, please confirm if the items that do not open have been moved. As I believed this issue to already have been fixed.

You can also try clearing the cache for your browser as well, to see if these issues persist.
