Sync to Google

I've seen a few issues/questions listed here with the sync process - I am a new user and just clarifying if my "issue" fits in the basket with those here or if I have just missed a step.

I started using todoist just today to see if it's something my team and I can use for higher productivity levels - I thought I had solved the worlds problems when I realized it would sync with our google calendars . I added the calender by inserting the url for todoist into the 'other calendars' section -- it uploaded everything, all tasks on appropriate dates! Hero!
Until ....I began adding more tasks and upon checking google calendar for confirmation of the tasks automatically syncing to it --- I see none of the new tasks added were syncing
So question is:
Is there a sync button somewhere I am unaware of?
Is this issue falling under the umbrella of all the others here

If so, will there be a fix? because todoist really is the answer to all our problems --- if it can stay current with our calendar.

Please advise, thanks!

The sync only happens once per day ...

Is this a Google issue or something the todoist can change? I'm not sure I can wait for tomorrow to see all of my newly created tasks on my calendar... Has anyone found a work-around?

Its caused by Google when using the iCal system, but we could switch to Google Apps and maybe other options, which we are considering. It takes more than that though to switch, as things on our end will need to change.

We are using Google Apps and we are on the Beta of your Todoist for work
groups. Maybe there's an opportunity there.

Any timing on potential upgrades?

At this time, we aren't working on this, though it's likely to happen eventually. To be clear, it would be us (Todoist) that would need to use Google Apps to implement the calender sync, not the users. As you already know, we are working on some things but better calender sync and calender features are highly requested, :)

Long shot but maybe check out GQueues and see how they're syncing cause it's almost instant
