suggestions on using todoist to build habits

i'm trying to sleep early and be punctual for work, and have set these recurring daily tasks:

- sleep by midnight
- leave for work by 8.30 am

so far, i've not been keeping to them, and as i don't swipe them off the list if i haven't met the target,i see them listed as "two days ago" or "yesterday" etc, which is really ugly and doesn't make sense, as they're meant to be daily tasks.

i guess i could always swipe them off no matter what, but i'd like to hear any suggestions others might have to use todoist to build habits.

Hi Michelle,

Unfortunately this is how tasks with dates work, if they did not become overdue and bug you, people will not complete the task.

As a workaround, you could create these tasks without dates, then set a reminder for them for those times needed.
