Permission to make changes in todoist from BusyCal app

I am using Todoist and BusyCal but am not able to make changes to Todoist items that are synced to the BusyCal. Does this require permissions. The message appears when I try to make changes that I don't have permission to make changes to Todoist from BusyCal. I like the combination of these two apps and would like to have this capability.

Hello Sonja,

If you're referring to the calendar integration through our iCal feed, then it's indeed a one-way sync so you can view your to-dos from Todoist in a calendar, but you can't modify them within the calendar and have such changes synced back to Todoist.

So i can understand, as i am trying Busycal - if i set reminders in todoist, would they show in busycal (or ical) so that i receive a notification on that end as well? the event is showing in the calendar (i have the subscrition set) but it not show an alarm. also, from what i can see (and from your reply above) i cannot change to add an alarm within the calendar as when it syncs it goes back to no alarm.

Hello Sam,

That's correct, Our iCal feed contains the name of the task and it's due date and time. Reminder information is unfortunately not there.

Best regards,
