Summertime Saving

There is an issue with Todoist.

When the clocks went back in the UK for Daylight Saving at the end of October, all my appointment times for after that date went weird.
I.E. I had a Doctors appointment for 16 November @ 10:30am but when the clocks went back by 1 hour my appointment changed to 09:30am. This should not happen. With lots of appointments I had to call them all to confirm the times of the appointments.
I do not think Todoist should knock an hour off my appointments.

Best Regards,

Steve Wilson.

Hello Steve,

Please clarify - did Todoist ask you to adjust the timezone after the change and did you agree to this change and made sure it affected all platforms and also - were all times on all devices you use Todoist on correct?

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply.

I did not do anything. I only noticed it was odd when I looked for the time of my Doctors appointment. I mentioned to my wife that it was 9:30 but she had it on her calendar for 10:30.

I have an iPhone and it automatically adjusts the time if the clocks go back.

So you don't use Todoist on the web? If so - try to log in via the web-app at https://todoist.com and see if it asks you to adjust the time zone.

Also, you can check if Todoist has the correct time zone set in the settings of our iOS app.

I had the same problem - all alarms on my iPhone / iPad where an hour early. Logging onto the web and clicking adjust time zone I think has worked.

Is this a bug with the iPhone version?

Hello Andrew,

This was mainly an issue on the back-end combined with the lack of the prompt to adjust your time zone in our iOS app. We've fixed it on the back now and we're going to implement easier time zone adjustment settings or a prompt to the iOS app in future updates.

Best regards,
