Gmail/Chrome: Can't exit "add task" window when task is created from the "Add" button

Steps to reproduce:

Open a random email in Gmail (Chrome 31.0.1650.57).
Click the "Add" button.
Don't do anything to the task, but click the "x" to cancel the creation of the task.
Nothing happens! You can't cancel the creation of the task.

Also, if you've tried to cancel it, and you instead try and click "Add task", then nothing happens as well, the window does not go away and the task is not created.

Hello Gorm,

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. When using the Gmail plugin and clicking on the X icon in the Quick Add menu to cancel the input a popup shows up at the top of the page asking you if you're sure you want to cancel the input without saving the data. If you agree - it closes.

Are you using any plugins in Chrome that may prevent this box from showing up (ad-blockers, script-blockers etc.)?

Best regards,

Hi David,

I do have "Better Pop Up Blocker" installed. I added both "http://todoist.com" and "http://www.todoist.com" on the white list, but it has no effect. Maybe you can tell me which domain to white list so this can work?

I'm unsure how exactly your popup blocker works, but if it manages to block even such standard notifications, please try to disable it and see if it helps.

As for whitelisting - there are only two domains our service uses https://todoist.com and http://cloudflare.net but again - this notification should theoretically be generated locally by the browser so it's not a standard popup opening a new window, that's why whitelisting a domain may not work.

Best regards,
