Todoist 2.5 and Outlook 64 bit

MJ

I just installed the new version of todoist (v. 2.5.0) as I has been prompted to for a while. Only to discover that the app has taken up its old habit of "firing an error".
Do you have a fix for this? I use Windows 7 and Outlook 2010, both are 64 bit.

Hi Martin,

Unfortunately we are still working on our new rewrite of the plugin and we do not have any proper solution right now. We hope to have an update soon.

You can clear the cache for IE, making sure it accepts third party cookies.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hello,

Please tell me, did you see any error messages during the installation and if so - what exactly did they say?

Also, do you see "OutlookTodoist" in Programs & Features as an installed app? If you do, please go to Outlook's Options -> Add-ins, click on "Go" next to "COM Add-ins" and use the check mark next to "OutlookTodoist".

Regards,
David

Hey David,

I already have enabled Todoist in my outlook 2013. When it suggested I update my plugin for the 64 bit Outlook, I clicked update and it installed & restarted my outlook.

I never had todoist working before, I always just got a blank screen on my outlook. I was hoping this update I installed would have fixed it, but unfortunately it didn't.

I dont receive any error messages, just that its blank and cannot create or view any tasks.

Thanks,

Abi.

Hi Abi,

Please let us know if you are using any proxies. If so, you can try to configure them: arrow icon under the red "Create task" button at the top menu.

Galina

Hi Galina,

I am not using any proxies. I have a colleague who has a 32 bit version installed in his 32 bit outlook and it worked fine for him.

I am using windows 7 professional
64 bit operational system
Outlook 2013
No proxies used
Chrome plugin works just fine

Regards,

Abi.
