Font type and size

RS

Hi,
I am testing your great Todoist and I think I will switch to Premium Account as such a good tool needs to be supported.

Is there a way ( or please, can you consider about it ) to change the font size. I will have a lot of todos and there is a waste of place on the screen as the actual font is very big .

Actually I am using the Premium Testmonth, but I can't find the possiblity to add notes?
Do I miss something?

regards
Reiner

Hi Reiner,

It's not possible to change the font size unfortunately at this time but we will consider doing so in the future. Though you can increase your browser or computer settings to change it.

Notes are found by hovering over the task, and the note icon will appear, then one clicked, this is where notes are added.

Thanks,
Brendon.

I'd love to be able to change my font - I noticed it was Arial in your blog post (https://todoist.com/blog/2013/01/zero-inbox-policy-with-todoist/) and find that easier to read on my computer.

Keep up the great work!

Lists tend to be very personal things - each person knows what best grabs their attention (e.g. for me it is a colour range). The functions on Todoist are impressive but it would be useful to allow some more individual user customization (e.g. add more colours on the priority list and allow font customization).

Currently in my trial month but almost certainly will subscribe from what I have seen so far.

Wunderlist losing my account and data (thus forcing me to search for a new To Do app turned out to be a blessing).

Hello Mike,

The text should certainly not be so light gray that it's not readable, could you please send a screenshot to david@doist.io (with a link to this thread for reference) showing where do you see a light gray text on a white background?

Best regards,
David

Hi David, Brendon, a possible configuration you've not seen before, causing fonts to be so tiny they are impossible to read. Running the Outlook plugin on Windows 8.1, which is running on top of Parallels current version on a MacBook Pro with multiple screens attached. The laptop screen is 2880x1800, the two 23" attached monitors are at 1680x1050. On the attached monitors, Outlook looks great, but Todoist is like a 1.5 or 2 font. So yes, in order to see it at all, the font size has to change. Thoughts?

Hello,

Could you please send a screenshot showing this issue to david@doist.io and brendon@doist.io ?

We're also working on high-PPI support for Todoist which should address this issue.

Best regards,
David

Too bad about the fonts...

At least it isn't something annoying like Curlz M.T. or Comic Sans.

Is the font size issue resolved. I just started using the product and loving it - even upgraded to premium, but the font issue on my new HD 13" screen make the tasks unreadable so the program is now useless.

Is there a fix in sight ? If not I plan can cancel and go back to previous GTD program. :'-(

Hi Chuck,

Not yet, unfortunately, but we are going to have an update for the high-resolution screens soon.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Galina

Hi Galina

Do you think it will be within the next month. I am trying to decide is I should wait or switch back to my old program.

Also, In Outlook 2010, I was able to dock the Todoist right below my calendar on the right side of outlook. Now with my new laptop and Office 2013 I can only dock it to the right of the calendar in its own column not below the calendar like I used to. Is this a resolution issue also ?

Hi Chuck,

Unfortunately, I can't provide an ETA yet. As soon as we have more definite news, we will share. Sorry about that.

The Outlook plugin is currently a right side bar :-)

Galina
