I can't 'upload an attachment' to a note

E

I have tried to upload a file in the Outlook extension and the Chrome extension. I read in another forum post here that the Chrome extension doesn't work and neither do the mobile apps but others should.
My question is this: why does it not work in Outlook (2007)? (other information . . . Win7 32bit.)

I have confirmed that I can go to the website from within Chrome and then it will work.

I'd really like it to work this way: Inside Outlook, take attachments and directly add them as file attachments to todoist without an intervening download of the file from outlook.
I could also suggest that (on desktop apps such as chrome extension, windows app, outlook extension) that you could make *all* of those apps pop up a separate file upload app that takes over and does the upload so that you don't have to write it and support it three times for one Windows computer. That could be fairly invisible to the user.

What I don't suggest is having the UI feature inside the different apps (implying that it works) and having it not work there.

Hello,

We're sorry for the inconvenience. The file upload feature is sometimes difficult to handle as our plugins and extensions use other browsers' engines which sometimes don't allow file upload.

I can confirm that it doesn't work in the current version of our Outlook plugin, but we're working on a rewrite of this plugins and hope to enable it if possible.

Best regards,
David
