Why Are Tasks Showing Up 4 Days In The Past?

JP

I just entered over 40 tasks with various due dates and every one of them just changed to due on 4 November.

What is going on? This has happened everyday since the time change. All 4 of my computers, cell phone, and 2 tables all have the correct time and date.

Hello James,

Please tell me:
- Does the issue persist if you select a time zone in Todoist's Settings that has a city name attached to it?
- Does it happen on all platforms?
- How exactly did the due dates change? Right as you've added them or at some point after you've synced the data you saw the dates change?

Best regards,
David

It has shown up in Windows 7 on the Chrome and Firefox browser, in my Chromebook, and in Android on my Galaxy Nexus phone, Nexus 7 2 tablet, and Xoom tablet.

I checked the time zone and it was associated with a city.

When I added the tasks the date was fine. When I added more tasks it changed the date of the previously added tasks.

After it changed them, within an hour of adding them the tasks were all 3 days in the future.

Now all the tasks are on the correct day after about 4 hours. It is very weird.

James,

To clarify, you have checked all devices to see if they all are indeed on the same timezone?

Thanks,
Brendon.

Correct. Every device I have is set to the same time zone and are within seconds of each other in time.

James,

We are still looking into this issue. After a few days, can you tell me if the issue is still occurring?

Thanks,
Brendon.
