Whenever I try to open it, it won't open with "Todoist Windows has stopped working"

Please uninstall the app, clear the cache for IE (and make sure it's accepting cookies), and then install this updated new version of the app.
Hello brendon, may be you can help me, i have windows 8.1 , and i m having trouble with todoist i n google chrome (work fine on IE, bt i use chrome...) and also i install todoist in deskot version, it starts fine once, and if i shut off todoist when i want to launch it again it doesnt do anything... stop working.
Hi Guido wainstein, I'm not part of the todoist team or anything like that but I had a similar problem. It turned out that closing the program doesn't actually shut it down. It's probably still running and you just need to click the icon again in the minimised menu bit next to the clock in the bottom right hand corner. Clicking the main program icon again doesn't do anything once it's running and has been closed.
As Luke said, the app will indeed hide in the system tray when closed, but you can change this behavior by right-clicking on the red TD icon in the tray, going to "Configurations" and setting it to quit upon closing :-)
ok, that was the issue.
but i stil cant use todist web version, i need to workit offline.
i tryed cleaning the chrome cache, i have re intalled it... stil dnt work.
Please clarify what happens exactly and when so we can try to reproduce this issue based on your detailed description, under the same circumstances.
You go to https://todoist.com (not any other URL) using which version of Chrome and what exactly happens then - do you see any error messages? If so - what do they say? Any details you could provide would greatly help us identify this issue :-)
