Tasks dates are changing for no reason

I just added a dozen tasks that I need to do today and tomorrow and all of them added with the proper date. I then went back to add a few more and the tasks I previously added were now listed as 2 and 3 days late.

I can only assume that this has to do with the bug related to today's time change. Will this kill my Karma? I have been doing great and haven't had anything overdue in a few months, but now date are changing to late and if I change them to the proper date I lose points for changing dates.

Any ideas?

Hi James,

We were experiencing issues related to DST but we believed this would be solved by today as it has now finished. Though, the issue normally would be tasks changed to one day later.

Can you check your Todoist's settings page, and all device settings (windows desktop as well) to see if everything is indeed on the same Timezone.

Everything is on the same time zone for me but all of my tasks are still a day later...this is a big problem as hundreds of tasks (all of my tasks) are now on the wrong date.

Hello Trevor,

We're very sorry for the inconvenience, we're looking into this now. Please confirm - did Todoist ask you to adjust the time zone and you've agreed and the issue still persists?

Best regards,

I am having a similar problem. Some (but not all) of my task due dates have moved back on day. Todoist did ask me to adjust the time zone when I logged in on the computer today, and I agreed, but I still see the problem.

Hi David,

Yes, Todoist asked me to adjust the time zone - which I did - and the issue is still there. The problem now is I am still using todoist so my tasks from today and yesterday are correct but if all of my other tasks are corrected I would imagine it will move my tasks from today and yesterday to the wrong day. You can log into my account or I can send you screenshots if you would like; for example, some of my repeating tasks will say "every tues, thurs" but they are showing on wednesday and friday etc.

Is there anything that can be done or do I need to manually go in and re-set up all of my tasks?

Hi Trevor,

As replied to your other thread, we are still looking into this issue, but manual editing might be needed. You can send screenshots if you'd like to brendon@doist.io and david@doist.io.
