How come a daily recurring task does not show up in my 7 day view?

I have a couple of daily tasks but they don't show up on my to do list in my 7 day view. In fact, when I complete them "today", they don't show up the next day in my to do list. I tried tagging them as "every day" and even "every day starting xx" with xx being today's date. Thanks.

Hello Cynthia,

Please note that recurring tasks are shown only once on any date-based view for the next occurrence (or stay overdue if not completed).

That said, please clarify - are you not seeing this task on your 7 days list under "today" (or "tomorrow" or overdue, depending on its completion state) at all? If so - on what platforms are you accessing Todoist, do you have the correct time zone on Todoist and all devices?

Best regards,

I see that if I check the task as done today, it shows up tomorrow on refresh. Not what I expected but I see how it works now.

Usually if I have a daily task I like to see it show up on all future days, regardless if I completed it today.

Unfortunately, that's not possible right now, but we may consider adding such possibility in the future.

I also have a similar query. Fine that everyday tasks are not shown for future days, but if I complete yesterdays task today, then that task is no more shown in today.
It is being shown directly in tomorrow. What if I want to complete two days tasks in one day?

Hi Totely,

That is the expected behaviour of the recurring tasks. Unfortunately, there's no way to change it right now.
