One off Outlook Tasks Sync

I can see the sense in using Todoist as an alternative to using the Outlook Task app but I have a huge task list sitting in Outlook right now and before I could start to use Todoist I would need to import my existing Outlook tasks. I understand that you are working on a sync solution but how far away is this now please? I do not relish the thought of manually typing in 100 tasks at present in order to start using Todoist. For me I see this as a one-off need because thereafter I would intend to use Todoist and stop using Outlook tasks.

Hello Andrew,

Unfortunately, we're currently not working on this particular feature yet. We are considering implementing better importing options in the future, but for now you would indeed need to type these tasks in.

Please note that adding tasks is super-fast in Todoist if you do it from within a project. You can enter any project such as the Inbox, click on "Add task" at the bottom and after you type in the task, hit TAB to set its date (just by typing "tom" or "tod" or "Fri" or "ev Mon at 2pm") and when you save it with Enter, you can continue adding another task right away and later move them between projects using the drag & drop feature on the web.

Best regards,

Thanks David,

I will have to consider this now as it will be quite time consuming but the app looks pretty good and so I may give it a go at some stage.

This is a must have feature and you todoist guys should add this sync support. Why don't you guys directly add sync to exchange support in todist like in Tasks and Notes for exchange app in android market ! ?
