Add subtasks in filtered view

ZG

I'm usually operating out of a filtered view and it's frustrating to have to back to the project page (which tends to be very busy with lots of tasks) to add subtasks. Is it possible to add subtasks while in a filtered view?

Hi Zach,

This is unfortunately not possible at this time but we will consider adding in a future update.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Thank's.

Maurice,

I am not sure what you are asking? If you search for a word that is within a task, if it's a sub or parent, it will be found.

Are you saying a completed parent task, followed by a un-completed sub? That would not be possible.

Regards,
Brendon.

I have the same issue, I think the add task and task submenus need to be the same regardless of where they are being viewed/created.

Subtasks are such an awesome feature I wonder why so few todo apps have them. However, their implementation on Todoist is kinda quirky, maybe you're better off trying your best not to use subtasks.

I would also like this feature.

You're right, Jared, that really disrupts one's workflow. At least from my layman point of view, that doesn't seem so hard to implement, which just makes things worse.
