Differences between web and mac osx app ?

Could you please explain the differences between the web and the mac app ? At first, I thought that the mac app was to be used when in offline mode but discovered that the web app can be used offline too. So what are the differences and pros/cons to use one or the other ?
Thanks in advance,

Hello Frank,

Basically, the Mac app is a frame connecting to the web-version of Todoist. If has two main advantages:

- Global shortcuts, which you can use anywhere anytime and they will allow you to quickly add a task.

- More robust offline mode. Even though you can access the web-app offline, to do so, you must go there while being online and then lose your connection while the Mac app will be accessible even if you're already offline assuming that you won't completely close it or log out.

Best regards,
