Unclear logic with overdue tasks

Logic of overdue tasks is not clear for me. I have tasks recurring on daily basis and, if task was not completed yesterday it would be shown as overdue for today - it is ok, but why after I complete this task it doesn't appear for today.

For example if I want to read for an hour each day and today I finish yesterday norm it doesn't mean that I don't have to read me today norm.

Thanks for you support

Hi Paul,

With the way our system works is that say you have a task overdue for a long time, you can then complete it and move onto the next occurrence. This way you don't have to check off 100 times to get where you want to get.

Though with Recurring tasks it does basically skip the current days task when doing this, at least the way it seems if you were not expecting it to do so. We suggest using the "Do It Today" button or making a note on the task that you have completed the previous tasks and only check it off when today's is done.
