Unable to download new version of ToDoist Windows App


I downloaded an earlier version of the ToDoist Windows App (I can't any longer see what version, because I have tried to uninstall it). I have been unable to download the new version because of a conflict with the previous version. I tried to uninstall the previous version, which was only partially successful-- an error message said that I could manually delete the rest of the app that didn't uninstall. Now I can't use that version of the app, and can't download the new app.

Hi Megan,

Head to the Windows Control Panel, and make sure that all instances of Todoist is removed from there. Also, then head to your Windows Explorer, Program Files, and see if any are located in there as well.

You can also run a program like CCleaner that can try to remove any instances of the app left over. I am not sure why it would have had issues removing it. Then, download and install from here. http://todoist.com/windows
