All Tasks on Icon App

Is there a way to have "all tasks" regardless of project category show up on the chrome extension icon? It appears to always open and list tasks under one project category only. If you go to todoist.com, you can click "more", show all tasks to see everything on one page. Does the icon app do this? Also what to do when the # of tasks doesnt update (always shows zero) on the google ext icon. Thanks for your time. Looks like a Great app so far

Hello Steve,

To view all tasks from all projects, please go to todoist.com, click on the gear icon in the top-right corner, go to Settings and in the "Start Page" section pics "custom query" from the drop-down menu and enter "viewall".

This will always show you the "viewall" page when you open the app/extension for the first time in a session.

As for the icon number - please clarify, are you referring to the Chrome extension? If not - what "google ext icon" are you referring to? In general, this could be caused by an incorrect time zone and the extension trying to count the tasks from a different day.

Best regards,

Yes David, my fault, the Chrome icon always showed zero but it appears tasks with no due date will not register on the counter. Added due date to one task and the number one registered on the app icon on chrome ext. looks like I just have to learn the specifics. Very functional app thanks again

Thanks for clarifying. The counter on the icon actually shows the amount of tasks due today or overdue. If you only have tasks due today, the number will be on a black background, if you have overdue tasks - on a red background.

Hi David, Why dont you add an icon below Today, Next 7 days and Inbox called "ALL" or something like that? as this would be easier to manage all tasks , print and so on.
I would really appreciate it.

btw, when I go to the gear icon "settings" I am not able to" ... find the "Start Page" section pics "custom query" from the drop-down menu and enter "viewall"...

Hello Mariona,

Thank you for your suggestion, we will consider it.

Regarding the start page, go to the Settings and you will see a window with multiple tabs at the top. By default, the "General" tab should be active.

Here, you will find the following elements, looking from the top:
- Premium status
- Language
- Start page

Next to "start page" is a drop-down menu, use it to select "custom query" and then you will see "not set" below and an "Edit" link. Click on Edit to enter "view all" as your query and save it.

Best regards,
