Hi Larry,

Unfortunately there is no way to change the font size in the Outlook plugin but we will consider implementing this in the future.

Thanks,
Brendon.

What is the default font of Todoist? Since I can't change the font size of the Outlook plugin, I would just change/customize my Outlook font to fit with Todoist.

Hello,

We're using the Open Sans font on Todoist:

@font-face {
font-family: 'Open Sans';
font-style: normal;
font-weight: 400;
src: local('Open Sans'), local('OpenSans'), url(https://themes.googleusercontent.com/static/fonts/opensans/v6/u-WUoqrET9fUeobQW7jkRT8E0i7KZn-EPnyo3HZu7kw.woff) format('woff');
}
@font-face {
font-family: 'Open Sans';
font-style: normal;
font-weight: 600;
src: local('Open Sans Semibold'), local('OpenSans-Semibold'), url(https://themes.googleusercontent.com/static/fonts/opensans/v6/MTP_ySUJH_bn48VBG8sNSha1RVmPjeKy21_GQJaLlJI.woff) format('woff');
}

Best regards,
David

The font in Todoist is too small. How do I make it bigger?

Hello Larry,

As Brendon mentioned, it's unfortunately not possible to change the font size right now. You could try to change the general font size in Internet Explorer as our Outlook plugin always uses IE's settings.

David

Todoist - Seriously needs to consider - giving an option to let users - increase or DECREASE font size in outlook and other interface.. for users who have eye problem it can be a great help ... BTW .. Todoist Rocks \m/-

PLEASEEE add the option to change font size, it's a real pain to have it in high resolution displays on Outlook or even Windows 8, thanks!

+1 for all platforms. Tried changing IE font size to largest - no impact to Outlook plugin.

+1 from me too. While it's OK on a standard PC screen, if you're using something HiDPI like the Surface Pro it's pretty much unreadable.

+1 This is really important to me, it takes too long to scroll down the list when it could all fit easily on the screen with a smaller font size

+1 Font size in outlook and in the iphone app (5s) is ridiculously large. In my app I can only see like 5-6 tasks. Please make it adjustable, right now I don't use the app on the phone because it don't provide an easy overview at all. Second everything Ronnie Davies said.

Hi Kevin,

We can't provide the exact day yet, but it shouldn't take too long. As we have an ETA, we will share.

Just noticed my plugin said there was an update and Outlook had to close and reopen. But I still don't see an option to adjust font size, I suppose this update didn't include this?

Hi Kevin,

Please refer to the guide below on how you can adjust the font size for the Outlook add-in. Let me know if you have any other questions. :-)

I might be missing something here, but that option shows 100% as the same size it was before the update. My only options are now to enlarge the font size and not reduce the size.

Hi Kevin,

You should find other scaling options there as well. See the image below for the available options. :-)

Yes I do see the other options, however 100% is what the current size is already. I was thinking we were able to reduce the size. So really we should have 80% or 90% meaning it will be smaller than what the current default 100 size is, correct? So there is still not an option to REDUCE size.

Hi Kevin,

Unfortunately, we don't offer options to reduce the font size. We'll consider adding it in the future.

Wow, OK I am disappointed if I'm honest. If you see above, there were plans for future releases to have this ability, and now with a new update still not available. I can't imagine why it's not possible if scaling is available in one way, why won't this be allowable in the other direction.

How different can the coding be?

This really suggests next update was going to include this... is it not? So you're still considering implementing it?

Hi Kevin,

The old version of the Windows app had issues with high resolution screens where the font sizes were really small. We did mentioned to make font sizes adjustable but this was mainly to address users who were affected by that issue. That's why the adjustment options are for scaling up the font sizes so the optimal font sizes for any high resolution screen can be selected. We do apologize for the confusion.

As of now, there are no plans to include options to reduce the font size of the app. I'll pass this feedback to our Windows dev though but it would still be up to our development team if this is something that they'll add.

So sorry for the inconvenience!.

Clyde
