Placing a task on HOLD

Is there a way to move a task to HOLD status? I usually have a list of tasks that I need to complete, when I am done with my actual work there is still work that needs to be complete by other teams for the same task, I would like to put that task to a "HOLD" state as I wait for the confirmation that the work I did is successful. I would like to close that task only after I receive the confirmation.

Is there a way?

Hi Gates,

Unfortunately there is no HOLD option for Todoist at this time. You can attach a label such as @waiting or similar so you know that is the case, but it will still become overdue.

We will consider adding this ability in future updates.

Yeah I use a label to indicate it's on hold, and either change the due date to the new date (if known), or remove the due date (if unknown).
