Overdue + Today filter doesn't respect time of the task

When I'm on the home page and default search filter is "(overdue, today)" this filter doesn't respect the time of the task. Say it's 3:00PM and the task has time due 7:30PM, it still appears in the result despite the fact the task is not overdue.

If this filter works like an OR operator (it looks like it does), please add the ability to use AND operator for "overdue" and "today" filters. So I can see only the actual tasks for the current time.

Hello Taras,

Unfortunately, our system never considers tasks as overdue based on the exact time, only on the date so if it's 2pm and the task was due today @ 1pm it will still be shown on the "today" part of the list and only get overdue tomorrow.

Please clarify - are you seeing the task in the correct part of the list? In the example you've posted the task that's due "today at 7"30pm" should indeed not be displayed in the "overdue" part of the list, but in the "today" part (if both your computer and Todoist are set to the correct time zone).

Best regards,

Hi David,

The part of the list is correct for the task in my example. It's in the Today section.

I'm wondering if it's possible to adjust your system to take the exact time into consideration when searching for the overdue tasks?

You're welcome to add a request for such change to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/ and we may consider it in the future.
