I knowing I'm being a bit thick but I can't see how to make my view sorted. By default I have a list showing p1, p2, p3, p4 items I would like all items within each Priority to be sorted by date due, but I can't see anyway I can force that. It seems that currently the order is as entered.

Look forward to some learning

Hello Dave,

Please tell me what's the exact query you use? If it's just "p1, p2, p3, p4" then all tasks on such view should (and are - just checked) sorted by due date automatically in ascending order (most overdue first, most in the future later, with no date at the bottom).

Best regards,

Thanks for the quick reply David.

I've looked a little harder and I think I can see what's happening. in my list for today I have eight tasks the first two say that they are due today : 16:00, the next say that they are due on Friday (which is today) at 10:00, the final four just say that they are due on Friday. I think the first four should exchange places, with the ones due at 16:00 following the ones due at 10:00 (I understand why the ones with no time are at the bottom).

knowing that means they I can do a work around of always using the day of the week.

In fact the sorting is absolutely correct - I knew I was being dumb - the items in the list that say Friday are for NEXT friday - not today! sorry for wasting your time.
