Print summary of projects

I love todoist - but there are a few things coming across counter-intuitive

For example - if I want to print projects, It has to go online and then only wants to print the tasks - so I tried to open my inbox for projects and do the same thing - the only option was to print out all projects and tasks which would be a few pages. - Can you make this more of an easier process?

Next - what is with the archive feature? I think this is trying to reinvent the wheel - just let me complete my project - it may be picky - but it is human nature to see and experience that satisfying click of a completed task - if then you want to offer me the option of archiving my project - great.

Hello Vincent,

Unfortunately, it's indeed not possible to print just the names of your projects without tasks associated to them.

Please note that projects in Todoist work more like folders or categories and therefore can't be completed as tasks.

If you're creating many projects which are temporary and should be removed after some time, please consider creating tasks instead. You could have a couple of projects as general categories or folders and then use tasks and sub-tasks in them. So that the main task, instead of being a project, would be a parent task and could be checked off just as their sub-tasks.

To create sub-tasks, please use the arrow icons on the right side of the task input field when adding or editing a task within a project or use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+RightArrow and Ctrl+LeftArrow to indent/unintend it.

Best regards,
