Number of late items for a day via API

I've been pulling my Todoist data and playing with it in Python Pandas, and it's been very interesting. I was thinking about doing some blog posts about it and posting the code.

I'd really like to know how many late items I had on a given day in the past, but this kind of information doesn't seem to be stored in the data I get from the API. I'd also love to get a list of all the items I had due on a specific day (counting ones that I later moved to a different day).

Can you guys think of a way to calculate the number of late items or something like that?

Hello John,

Regarding your question how many items you've had on a given day in the past - we don't expose this information via the API, because we don't keep track of these data ourselves.

As for listing all items you've had due on a specific day - we have a "query" API http://todoist.com/API/#query , and you can use it in the following way: https://todoist.com/API/query?token=your_token&queries=["2013-08-07"] If you wants to use non-standard queries and make some statistics, we suggest to use our sync API, create internal model of your projects and tasks, and then used it in any way you want.

Best regards,
