in the firefox add-on description it says:

This sleek todo app keeps you organized, focused, and more productive. The perfect todo productivity app is there wherever you need it: on Mozilla Firefox, Android, iPhone, desktop, browser, Gmail, Thunderbird and more!

Is says Gmail but how can I get it to Gmail? I even signed for an app in Google App Marketplace but it doesn't show up anywhere in gmail.

Hi Elvis,

With our Firefox & Chrome extensions it allows you to quickly add an email as a task. Once the extension is installed, make sure it's open by clicking the TD icon, and then open up an email in Gmail (or with Chrome, email first, then click on the TD icon). On the Todoist extension window, click the + button at the top, and you will see an "add email as task" option at the bottom.

This does not work for the New Google "inbox". What this does is use the URL of "inbox". The subject email may be long one by the time I reopen the inbox. It only shows the items in the current inbox and not the subject email.

Hi Douglas,

Unfortunately, we don't have integration with the new Gmail Inbox yet. Sorry about that!

This may be along the lines of my question.
Can I be on my Android, looking at gmail and add said email to todoist?

Technically yes, but not in the same way as on desktop so you can't create a link to this mail from mobile, but you can send/forward this email into your Todoist projects and this will convert the email along with its body and attachments into a task with a comment (and the attached file).

For more information about this feature, please right-click on a project and select "Email tasks to this project" :-)

Yes, each project has its own email, you can add these mails to your contacts list to access them quickly, but if you prefer to send these mails to the Inbox project, you can get the Inbox's email address from the pencil and wrench icon at the top (that's where you'll find the "Email tasks to this project" option for the Inbox :-)

Please click on "Inbox" on the left and now on the right side, you'll see the "Inbox" header at the top and below - all your tasks in the inbox.

On the right side of the top header, you'll find these icons. One is the "Share" icon and the other one (the crossed pencil and wrench) is the "Task Actions" icon - that's where you'll find this option :-)

ok, didn't see that little guy.

So I was goofing around with it.

If I have an email I just want to read later, but not reply to. I can
forward it to todoist and delete it in my gmail.
Looks like I can still see it in todoist, even though it was deleted in
gmail, can I access attachments still as well?

Hi Tammy,

Yes, once an email is sent to your Todoist project, it's converted into a task with the email body (plus attachments) in the notes :-) When you send one, just make sure everything is correctly converted and attached to your task.
