Can I hide a task until it's due date

I want to set up a few reminders for monthly recurring tasks, but I don't want the tasks to clutter up my lists until the day (or day before) the tasks are actually due. Is this possible in Todoist?

Hi Paul,

Unfortunately, this isn't available at this time, but feel free to vote on this in our Votebox as we are always looking to improve. http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/395/

Remember, though, that you can hide subtasks by clicking on the triangle to the left of their parent task.
If you routinely have lots of tasks without parents that you want to hide, you could make a special Hidden Tasks task, in the inbox or elsewhere (with Monday, Tuesday, etc. subtasks) and just open them when you wanted. Meanwhile, you can have Todoist send you reminder emails a day or two before each task's due date, so you won't forget them once they're hidden.
