setting non-specific 'date' due dates

I need to set tasks that aren't on a specific day (i.e May 31) but rather a general day (i.e first saturday in september, last monday in october, etc...). I can't seem to figure out how to do it, so I am thinking this will be the same answer as the one you sent on the recurring tasks, but figured I would check just in case I am missing something.

If you can't do it, can you please provide an estimated date for when we will be able to do this. This is a basic tool and I can't think of a time that I wasn't able to set due dates like this in the many years I've been using task programs...

Hi Eva, I don't think that the recurrences you look for are currently possible. There is a suggestion asking for more complex recurrences (https://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/22/), which you might want to vote for.

Hello Eva,

As Andy mentioned, such dates are indeed not supported yet for single-occurring tasks. You can of course set a task to "every 1st Saturday" or "every last day", but only as recurring.

Please note that as you go to the due date field, a mini-calendar will open allowing you to pick the specific date, as a workaround, but you're welcome to vote for the request Andy posted above.

Best regards,
