Check boxes in the iPhone app

Hello.. me again!

I'm curious as to why you decided against the checkboxes in your iPhone app??

As noted in the Votebox suggestion that I just posted, I appreciate that in your online/website version, I am able to add a task with an asterisk (*) in front of the title, which allows me to actually list something more as a heading than a task. Unfortunately, there's no way to differentiate between the two in the iPhone app.

Hello Paul,

We've decided against check boxes for a cleaner look allowing more space for the most relevant data (task name), prevent accidental checking off a task while trying to swipe to the left panel and we were going to add more task options which required a drop-down menu anyway (for the "postpone", "edit" or "note" options).

If you're using the asterisk task headers for longer task structures, we recommend to set up sub-projects instead which would even provide better functionality (you would see the context of every task based on the project name).

Best regards,
