Pressing enter after editing an item does not add a new item below it

Hi, in the help page about shortcuts it says: "Enter, Save current item and append a new item below it". But that does not happen when editing an item and pressing enter. Instead, the item is saved, but no item is added below it.
This means I have to add a task at the bottom of the list and move it.

Hey Luca,

Try holding <shift> down when you hit enter. Todoist seems to let you add a new item in after hitting <enter> only when starting new. If you are changing a current item and still want to keep adding tasks, I've held down <shift> while hitting <enter> and that usually does the trick!

Awesome, it works thanks! :-) Maybe the keybindings page ought to be updated.

Hello Luca,

The entry on our help page will be updated, but it is correct for adding new tasks. That is - when you use the "Add task" link at the bottom of a project and add a new task, you can hit Enter and another input field will be opened.

SHIFT or CTRL are only required when you don't add a new task, but edit and existing task otherwise Enter will in these cases only save the edited changes.

Also, if you want to add a task below a certain task without editing the existing task, please right-click on the task and choose "Add task below" (or above).
