Desktop Windows Application - Make it full screen by default

No matter what I have tried, every time I close (or minimize) the desktop application on Windows 8, when I reopen it, it starts as windowed (not full screen). I tried quitting todoist when it was full screen, however for some reason when I reopen the app, it does not remember its previous size. Is there a way to make the application full screen by default?

Hello Kivanc,

Please uninstall it and install this updated version of the app: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/5023a6d6c92501bdfb0e00969703a767/as/Todoist_for_Windows.exe

In this version, I can confirm that if you make the app full screen, then each time you re-open it through the TD icon in the notifications area or the associated keyboard shortcut, it will open in fullscreen. The only time it will get back to non-fullscreen mode is when you completely quit it through the TD icon in the system tray.

That said, we will look into this in the future, but for now please set the app to "Minimize to Notifications Area" upon closing in the configuration (right-click on the TD icon).

Best regards,
