Is there a way to adjust the date Completed on a Task?


I forgot to check off some tasks that I did actually get done yesterday, but trying to clean up my list this morning to have an accurate history, it doesn't let me say I completed the task yesterday, just checks it off as done.

Is there any way to correct that indication, or is the approach more along the lines of 'once it's done, it's gone' and not meant to be referenced later as a log?

I'm using an iPad with the mobile (HTML5?) interface now. I also have it installs on my Android phone, and can use Firefox in my desktop for the regular online access, so if I can only do it one OS, please just let me know which.

Hello Elizabeth,

Unfortunately, that's not possible. If you check off a task today, it's logged as checked off today and it's not possible to modify the timestamp of the completion.

Out of curiosity & future handling:
If I had checked it off as completed while offline on the right day (yesterday), but then didn't sync that device until today, which day would be considered the completion date?

The time you checked it off would be the time marked as "completed". Even if you're offline, the timestamp would be generated based on your devices time.

That said, you could try to un-check it, change the date and time on your device, go offline, check it off and see if it syncs the old date. We can't guarantee that it will work, though.
