How do I select more than one task and then delete their recurring dates and times?

MD

I held the Ctrl key while I selected most of the nested tasks and un-nested tasks in a subproject. Then I clicked on the Change Date link at the top of the chrome browser window. Since there wasn't any date or time selected in the popup, I pressed the Change button.

The recurring tasks were successfully changed to tasks without a due date or time.

However, about 10 seconds later, even if I go to another project and come back, those tasks have their recurring date set again.

I'd rather not edit each task to remove it's recurring due date so that there is not due date or time left, because that would take a long time. What's the fix for this? Did I find a bug?

Hello Michael,

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this issue. I just tried to remove due dates of some tasks like this and all got removed at once and did not reappeared.

Please tell me:
- When you force-reload the page with Ctrl+F5, do these tasks still have a due date?
- What version of Chrome are you using?
- In what view did you try to change the dates (in a project, on a date-based view or other search query)?

Also, please try to clear Todoist's offline data. To do so, remove todoist.com from the list in Chrome's Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site date. Then reload the browser and log back in.

Best regards,
David
