repeat task certain amount of times

Is there a way to set a recurring task to appear certain amount of times?

For example, I want TD to alert me to take the medicine every day at 9 mp for the next 10 days. How to set those "for the next 10 days"?

Or "every Monday for 5 times"?

Hello Denis,

Unfortunately, that's not possible right now, but we will consider adding such option in the future and you're welcome to vote for it in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/214/

For now, as a workaround, you can add the ending date to the task's name for reference and on the last date hold SHIFT while checking the task off to automatically move it to the history (or right-click on the task and choose "Move to history" which will also complete and remove it from the list).

Best regards,

An alternative is to set the repeating task as a sub-task of a parent task. Give the parent task the final date as it's due date, and set the sub task to repeat every day (or whatever occurrence you need).

For the final day, complete the parent task instead of the subtask, and the whole lot gets marked as complete and moved to the history.
