Hiding project list in new version of Outlook add-in

JB

I can't seem to hide the project list in the outlook add-in. So the Todoist pane always contains the project list on the left and the individual tasks on the right. So it takes up an enormous amount of space. This is the new version of the add-in that was just released. I remember there was an option to hide the project list in the previous Chrome version of the add-in, and I can't find it anymore. I am running Outlook 2013 (32-bit) over Windows 7 (64-bit).

Hi Jim,

If you grab the edge of the Todoist window and drag it to the right, you should be able to resize it. When you drag it to a certain smaller size, the Project list will disappear and turn into a drop down menu instead.

Are you not able to do this?

Thanks,
Brendon.

Thanks for the response. This does not seem to be working for me. When I shrink the window all I can see is the project list. I think it may have been working when I first installed last week but no longer does this.

Hi Jim,

So you don't see a red "Hide Menu" at the top when you shrink the window? Please try logging out of the app and back in again.

If you could send a screenshot of how your window looks to brendon@doist.io that could help.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hi Jim,

Based off your screenshot it does look very incorrect. Please try logging out of Todoist and back in again, if that does not work please try clearing the cache for Internet Explorer, while Outlook is closed.

Let me know if that resolves the issue.

Thanks,
Brendon.

I tried both of those things, but it didn't work. Any other ideas?

Hi Jim,

Unfortunately, we have been experiencing a few issues with this version of our plugin. We are currently working on it but for now, as a workaround, you could try to install this earlier version of our Outlook plugin which should work fine: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/354a36dcf40f6dd891fafdb6d2b97716/as/OutlookTodoist.exe

Sorry for the troubles.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Thanks. It is not perfect but not terribly annoying either.
