manual linkage with mail.app

Hi Todoist support,

Great app. But one big problem, it doesn't seem possible to integrate with mail.app. I am quite surprised by this, because I thought at a minimum the message linking framework in OSX could be used to manually (through applescript) create email linkage.

For example for a mail.app message OS X will provide a unique link such as :

If opened in safari this will pop up the original mail message this is uniqued tied to.

Alternatively in other web apps (such as toodledo) you can embed html syntax directly into the note to access the linkback such as:

<a href='message:BLU175-W12F59A4F8E14375A56CDF1CEA00@phx.gbl'>Open original message in Mail </a>

How come neither of these methods create a clickable link inside todoist tasks? If you can give us a way to do this we can do the rest through a scrip in mail.app that embeds the link into the top of the message when we forward the email into todoist.com

Hello Ben,

Unfortunately, that's not possible right now, but we will consider allowing a syntax for this kind of links in the future and you're welcome to add a request to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/

Best regards,
