Importing from other note taking apps

Your solution looks terrific. The one thing I cannot find is an import function. I have all my outlines and notes stored in other applications and I can easily export them to a text file, xml, opml, confluence wiki, html, etc. I just need a way to port over all the notes and tasks I've logged prior to finding your app. Any way to do this?

Hi William,

The ability to import a .txt file is available for premium accounts. You can export and import project templates this way.

You can read up on accomplishing this here: https://todoist.com/Help/viewProjectTemplates?from_premium=1

And you can read up on all the other awesome features that come with a premium subscription :) It's worth it!

Quick followup question: Is it possible to synchronize tasks from Confluence with Todoist, and if not, is it possible to include it by implementing a selfmade JavaScript extension?

There are no options for this at this time. People have done scripts to support what they want in the past, but we do not have any officially supported options.
