How do I handle a task that dakes more than one day?

i need a suggestion: if I have this task that will take me 5 days to be completed I could put a due date 5 days from now but then I would not see the task in my "today" schedule and maybe forget until it's too late...
Any suggestion?
Than you!

Hello Edoardo,

In such case, please use the date "every day" (or just "ev day") and you can check off this task each day.

After 5 days, you can either right-click on the task and choose "Move to history" or hold the SHIFT key while you check it off which will also complete it for the last time and place the task in the history.

Is there a way to set it up to be Every day until a certain date?

Hello Lauretta,

Unfortunately, that's not possible but we may consider adding such option in the future and you're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/214/

For now, as a workaround, you could simply type in the end date within the tasks name for reference.

Best regards,
